Workholding without the "custom" cost!
MagVISE Permanent Magnetic Vises slash setup times on horizontal or vertical CNC machine tools. They are used for all types of machining and boring operations on thin to thick workpieces. MagVISE ECB Blocks easily create powerful arrays to hold large workpieces or gang multiple workpieces together in one set-up. Available in several sizes, each block provides from 1,100 to 4,620 lbs of holding power. An 8-up set-up provides 36,960 lbs of holding power. Use EZ-Lift lifting magnets together with the MagVISE modular workholding system and significantly reduce your load/unload and workpiece set-up times.
No electricity is needed. Turn the magnetic vise "ON" and "OFF" with the turn of a wrench. Our magnetic vises easily integrate with pallet changing and tombstone systems for horizontal and vertical machining centers.
Magnetic workholding provides very even holding of the workpiece, without dead spots, so chatter is reduced while tool life and surface finish are improved. Rough or uneven stock is no problem to hold thanks to spring loaded induction blocks that adjust to fit the workpiece.
