Automatic Thru Coolant Tool Posts

for CNC, Turret and Manual Lathes

Thru Coolant Tool Posts are the hub of the Automatic Thru Coolant tooling System and can increase production from any CNC toolroom lathe, manual toolroom lathe, engine late or heavy duty "Oil-Country" lathe.

The tool post body is made from chromium-molybdenum alloy steel, thru hardened, surface treated and xylan coated for protection and durability in machining environments. 

The patented locking gear and gibs are made from chromium-molybdenum alloy steel.  The core thru hardness is 40-44Rc and the surface is Ion - Nitrided to a hardness of 60-64Rc to ensure a long working life and rust resistance under harsh working conditions.

The Triple Action Locking System features zero backlash, precise repeatability within 0.001", 15° locking handle position adjustment, a super heavy duty locking gear and wedge style sliding gibs.  It accepts industry standard interchangeable  toolholders as well as the new Thru Coolant toolholders.  Every Automatic Thru Coolant tool post is supplied with all coolant attachments and valves.

The Thru Coolant Tool Post is available for any lathe, whatever the swing over the bed in both inch and metric dimensions.

Thru Coolant Tool Holders

for use with Victory™ Automatic Thru Coolant Tool Posts

Thru Coolant Toolholders are available in all the configurations you are used to getting from Dorian.  Turning and facing, turning, facing and boring holders, boring bars, Morse taper holders, cut-off and grooving holders, internal and external threading holders, knurling holders, drill chucks and 5C collet holders are all available.  Most are available for tools up to 1-1/2" (or 40mm) in inch and metric dimensions.

Thru Coolant Toolholders feature quick change mounting, double air or liquid coolant system, for higher cutting speeds and feeds.  Each is manufactured from high tensile strength Chromium-Molybdenum alloy steel, thru-hardened, ion-Nitrided and black oxide coated.  All are CNC precision ground and qualified for accuracy and super precise tool change repeatability within 0.001".

Victory CNC Quick Change Gang Tool

to convert a Programmable Tool Room  Lathe to a True  CNC Turning Center

With a Victory CNC Quick Change Gang Tool you can automate any programmable tool room lathe easily.  

The Victory CNC Quick Change Gang Tool holds up to 10  tools in a linear setup and eliminates the need of stopping the machine to change tools after each operation.  And there is no wiring or interfacing required.  

The  Victory CNC Quick Change Gang Tool is supplied with a standard Thru Coolant system and all coolant fittings.   Easy to setup, there is no additional wiring or interfacing needed.  The gang tool slides over the tool post dovetail just like a regular quick change tool holder and is locked in place with a pull of the tool post locking handle.  Anti-rotation pins prevent any radial movement of the tool  post under heavy drilling, boring, turning and threading operations.  The center height of all tools can be simultaneously adjusted using the height adjustment screw to minimize setup/changeover time.

After removing the Victory CNC Quick Change Gang Tool by simply sliding it off the tool post dovetail, the tool post will remain on the machine immediately ready for other work.

Quick Change Gang Tool Sets are also available to save time and for extra savings.  Sets include a CNC Quick Change Gang Tool, three  toolholders, six cutting tools, two reducer bushings and a complete set of coolant hardware.
