The new range of Avseal® II blind sealing plugs are unique in the efficient sealing performance they provide in low and high pressure hole sealing applications. The rapidly installed two-piece plug offers technical characteristics that:

4mm - 7mm in 1mm increments in the high pressure
Resistance version (8mm - 20mm on special requests)
8mm - 16mm in 1mm increments in low pressure version, primarily for automotive applications

Installation Equipment

The Avseal® II range can be installed with the current selection of structural hand tools and automated placing equipment. The tapered end of the plugs stem ensures it is easy to feed into the tooling equipment, while the taper on the sleeve allows ease of entry into an application.

The tables below show the range of Avdel® handtools and installation equipment which can be used to place Avseal® II fasteners. For further information on specific nose equipment, please contact your local Avdel® representative.
